JOB TITLE: OBSTETRICIAN AND GYNAECOLOGIST (01)
Reports to: Medical Director Location: Ishaka-Mbarara
Job Purpose
To provide high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care, ensuring safe pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive health services while delivering excellent patient experience and supporting hospital performance.
1. Provide antenatal, delivery, and postnatal care, including high-risk cases.
2. Diagnose and treat obstetric and gynaecological conditions.
3. Perform surgical procedures.
4. Ensure patient safety, satisfaction, and accurate documentation.
5. Offer family planning and reproductive health services.
6. Participate in quality improvement and support hospital efficiency.
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBchB), Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Practicing License with Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
